Bio
Julia Kurokhtina holds over 10 years of top political, consulting and entrepreneurial experience.
She graduated top of her class with a Master’s Degree from the esteemed “KIMO” Institute of International Relations Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine.
Being a first year student, she started on building up expertise in fields of Communications and Public Relations. Ms. Kurokhtina worked side by side with former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, who later became the Governor of Odessa Region. During almost 5 years, apart from being Advisor to the Governor, she remarkably handled all Strategic Public Relations, Media and Strategic Communications.

In 2017 Ms. Kurokhtina became an entrepreneur and founded her own Strategic Communications Agency. In 2020, she expanded and consolidated her companies and capabilities into an umbrella organization called “J.K. Group”, offering worldwide clients an extensive range of possibilities in all spheres of Consulting.
In 2018, Julia founded the festival d’auteur “Muromets Fest”, an event both nationally and globally renowned, hosting over 40,000 people.

Since 2020, Ms. Kurokhtina is CEO and co-founder of the Empire State Capital investment bank and leads negotiations on over $1 billion in Investment Deals into Ukraine. In addition, Julia holds the position of Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of the affiliated Non-Profit Organization, BIG.U “Business Incubator Group. Ukraine”, supporting Small and Medium Businesses and Entrepreneurs throughout Ukraine.

MUROMETS FEST
Muromets Fest — is a globally renowned festival d`auteur, spotlighting Ukrainian history and culture in a unique combination with modern sports.
The festival is a groundbreaking platform for joyful experience, educational and networking opportunities, bringing together opinion leaders, investors, public figures, sportspersons, superstars, politicians and ordinary people. Participants get free access to the wide range of master classes on interpersonal and technical skills, various cultural and athletic activities driven by inclusivity.
Athletes set national and Guinness book records, artists and historians contribute to the renaissance of Ukrainian millennia old traditions, fostering a fresh way of thinking and each (of more than 40,000 participants) unites it all together, reinforcing global Ukraine image.
CONSOLATION
"Consolation" is a project about Ukraine, its history and struggle for the right to be independent, about its culture, talents, and barriers placed upon it to repress the free Ukrainian soul.
After the Maidan events in 2014, Natalya and Olga Pasechnik, world famous Ukrainian pianist and opera singer respectively, presented world’s first album, eponymous with the unique project — Consolation, — reviving forgotten and hidden classical compositions of historically oppressed and artificially consigned to oblivion Ukrainian artists of the past.
FLAME OF PEACE
Flame of Peace (Flamme des Friedens) is an award granted by Austrian non-profit organization Vereins zur Förderung des Friedens, founded by Herta Margarete Habsburg-Lothringen and Sandor von Habsburg Lothringen, from the Royal House of Habsburg.
With the initiative of the Peace Ambassador Ms. Anastasia Zelenska, the monument carved in wood and stone, was installed in Kyiv as a symbol and essential reminder for everyone to work towards global unity, stability and, most importantly, peace.
DAY OF PEACE
J.K. Group, in partnership with The Women's Union of Ukraine, held a series of large-scale events with representatives of the Ukrainian executive, diplomatic corps, diasporas, international and youth organizations, women-members of the ATO, national artists and clergy of various denominations.
The Day of Peace program embraced modern, efficient and smart peacebuilding approaches, building the powerful bridge for dynamic communication and cooperation between grassroots, middle and policy levels.
ST. ANDREW CHARITY FOUNDATION
J.K. Group supervised Saint Andrew’s Charity Foundation for over half a year, mainly focusing on humanitarian aid and work with children, including disabled, orphans and unprivileged low-income families. J.K. Group organized fundraisings, excursions, art and soft and hard skills master classes, travels and birthday parties.
The culmination of the cooperation came during the UEFA Champions League, where Cafu, professional Brazilian player and the only one in history to have appeared in three consecutive World Cup finals, taught disabled children how they can successfully play this sport.
